Make sure you feel competent in the medium in which you offer the therapy. Make sure you have supervision from a therapist who has experience in providing therapies online and/or looking for peer supervision from colleagues who have offered them regularly. Look for training on how to manage dilemmas related to online therapy. If you have not yet used online therapy, you can first practice the platform with a friend or family member. Before a session, allow extra time to register if you are less familiar with the technology. Our sessions will be 50 minutes and usually weekly, but it may be appropriate to organize more or less frequent sessions depending on the stage of the therapy.
